  • Transportation Ministry

The purpose of transportation ministry is to move people closer to Christ. We believe this can be achieved when the unit members demonstrate integrity, excellence and Christ’s love by providing: A friendly, reliable, timely, clean, safe and efficient bus service that could relieve individuals from transportation stress, especially where there is primarily no alternative to getting to church.

The ministry’s mission is to increase the opportunities for individuals, particularly those with limited access to personal transportation, to regularly attend church. “And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” – Luke 14:23.
  • Traffic & Security Ministry

To serve and protect drivers and pedestrian at weekend service and special event. Our goal is to serve the members and guests of our church, from directing traffic on Sundays to securing the church premises during worship service and special events to provide a safe holistic atmosphere within the church premises.

The team is responsible for the church parking environment and surroundings and ensure orderliness with regards to traffic movement. The Traffic and Security ministry welcome members and guests as they enter the church and direct them to the appropriate parking spaces. They maintain a peaceful and safe environment for church and members during the services and church events and when leaving the church environment after services and events.

  • Protocol Ministry

To provide “special services” to pastors and visitors to the church, as will be directed by the pastor and the church leadership. The Protocol Ministry strives to maintain order in the various areas of the church.

Protocol Ministry works with visitors who are guest of the pastor and are worshipping/visiting on an invitation. These guests may be pastors, Church leaders, government officials or friends of the pastor. Members also assist with all the protocol related activities in the church including church services and events. From the Kingdom perspective, the Protocol Ministry is one of the Helps ministries as outlined in 1 Corinthians 12:28. Let all things be done decently and in order. (1 Corinthians 14:40 KJV).

  • Ushering Ministry

To make members of the congregation and visitors feel comfortable, and more importantly assist the Pastor in providing spiritual dignity to the worship service

The ushering ministry is a very important and relevant arm of the Redeemed Christian Church of God House of Praise. They are responsible for helping to provide a welcoming and ordering environment during church service; Ushers assist with seating, receiving an offering, special ministration, and responding to emergencies. The mission of the Ushering Ministry is to facilitate an atmosphere of worship that reflects the holiness and awesome character of God, by inspiring and maintaining an environment of discipline, and by ministering to God’s people. We will not neglect hospitality to strangers, for by doing that, some have entertained angels without knowing it. (Hebrews 13:2).
